The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) and the Federal Police (PF) are looking for clues about criminals who fled after abandoning an aircraft that clandestinely invaded Brazilian airspace, close to the border with Peru.
The Cessna 210 model plane was intercepted, on the afternoon of this Thursday (26), by FAB fighters near the city of Humaitá (AM).
According to the Aerospace Operations Command (COMAE), the aircraft, which was unregistered and without a flight plan, ignored instructions to change route and even a warning shot fired by the fighters.
Also according to the FAB, shortly before being warned that he would be shot down, the aircraft pilot carried out desperate maneuvers and made a forced landing on a dirt road in the region.
Before fleeing, the criminals set the aircraft on fire with the intention of leaving no trace and fled overland. Look:
