Fabiana Justus spoke on his Instagram this Thursday (23) about the changes he made to his routine and diet to be more healthy after the discovery of a cancer . From changing pans to stopping eating sweets, she highlighted that she doesn't follow all the recommendations she sees on the internet because she thinks there should be a balance, so she makes changes “lightly”.
The content creator clarified that the leukemia was not triggered by any of the habits she had before, as it was a mutation. “When I was diagnosed with cancer I received a lot of questions about what could have caused it. And this is something I asked my doctors because it was a curiosity of mine too.”
According to her, there are many restrictions on her menu because her immunity is low due to cancer treatment. Justus said that he cannot eat raw foods – such as fish, eggs and meat –, eat outside the home – because he does not know how the preparations were made –, in addition to having to clean fruits and vegetables very well.
In the conversation that began when Fabiana said she discovered a less aggressive deodorant that she liked, she listed some changes she adopted to be healthier post-chemotherapy.
First, he commented that he bought ceramic pans because he considers that non-stick pans are toxic when scratched, and that he still wants to have utensils made from surgical steel, even though they are very expensive. He also said that he no longer uses plastic pots to store food, only glass, due to hygiene and the toxic substances that can be released by the material.
Justus confessed that he uses the microwave — even though he knows it's not the best option. But for his youngest son, Luigi, he prefers to heat with the bain-marie technique.
Regarding his diet, he commented that he avoids eating sugar and explained his strategy: “I didn't make a promise, so if I really want to eat, I eat. But I’m managing well and satisfying my sweet tooth with natural sweeteners and these sugar-free sweets that contain natural sweeteners.” The influencer concluded by saying that she eliminated soda from her diet, that she doesn't usually eat gluten because she has an intolerance and that the family doesn't eat fried food during the week at home, only on Saturdays and Sundays.
The influencer said on social media on the 18th that she made a surprise appearance during her younger sister Vicky's 4-year-old birthday party, even though she was in isolation due to chemotherapy treatment. Diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at the beginning of the year, Fabiana has been sharing all the stages of her treatment with internet users. Roberto Justus' daughter underwent a bone marrow transplant at the end of March and shared that the result of the surgery was positive.
