Fabiana Justus removes catheter and celebrates: “Thank God without wires”

The influencer Fabiana Justus , 37, underwent a procedure to remove his catheter this Friday (28). After being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, At the beginning of the year, she has been sharing stages of her treatment on social media.

Earlier this afternoon, Roberto Justus’ daughter shared a video where her daughters kiss her catheter to say goodbye to him. Soon after, Fabiana poses in the hospital and explains the procedures she would undergo this Friday (28).

“Today I will: remove the catheter, insert the port (one that stays inside the skin, can get wet in the shower, etc., much better), do the control myelogram (a test that will return zero once again, God willing)”.

Wearing a hospital outfit, she even jokes: “Ready with this charming look to remove the ‘threads’ (the girls called it that lol)”. Soon after, she celebrates being discharged from the hospital alongside her husband.

Through a video, she reassures her followers, saying that the procedure went well. “Guys, thank God for wireless! I’m waiting for the car to arrive so I can go home, I’ve just been discharged and the sedation went well, I woke up feeling great and the results of the tests will still be out, but everything will be fine, I’ll let you know, thank you for your continued support.”

Finally, she explains that this port that she placed inside her skin will still be useful when she goes to the hospital for medication, but this time, it will only be necessary to puncture it and she will not need to have the wires hanging.

This week, Fabiana celebrated another stage of her treatment when she was cleared to start revaccination. The process was long after her bone marrow transplant, which was performed in March. Because of the cancer and the transplant, Fabiana Justus falls into the immunosuppressed category.
