Fabri Fibra, an unreleased album while the expectation for the new album grows

In all these years he has accustomed us to a strange swing of presence And oblivion. “Strange” for the canons of today’s discography, for which an artist should “cultivate” the relationship with his audience every day, at the cost of feeling obliged to share the most varied moments of his daily life. Or – even worse – to continually expose themselves on issues deemed to be of general interest. Fabri Fibra is not like that. Only when she has something to say does she come back. And she has done it, over the years, with some collaborations and with only one unpublished (How come together with Franco 126, published in October 2019 as the only extract from the collection Time flies 2002-2020). Now, however, the time has come for its official return.

It was understood when a few weeks ago the rapper from the Marche had in fact “reset” his Instagram profile, archiving photos and also removing his profile picture. And there was confirmation when it came time for its official announcement: Chaosmy new album, out on 18.03.2022 “. The album comes 20 years after its first project Youth disorders and 5 years after his last project (sales champion) Phenomenon.

And precisely to the theme of the passing years Fabrizio Tarducci (this is his real name) he dedicated a post on his social networks. A few seconds and a couple of sentences, recited in front of a camera: “People say to me every now and then: “But are you 45 and still rapping?”. And it gives me more and more taste because in reality I get better and better“.

Yesterday, Monday 14 March, a few days before the arrival of Chaos, Fabri Fibra has given its audience an unpublished. This is the 64 Bars by Red Bull. It is the first content of Red Bull Droppathe brand’s new YouTube channel, entirely dedicated to rap and urban.

The song, produced by Zef, is a kind of Fiber manifesto. An opportunity to retrace his path. But also the references of him. We talk about Mac Miller (“Rap Diablo, how much I miss Mac Miller”), gods Public Enemy (“Hungry to know a lot, raised in the Nineties / I listened to Public Enemy with Anthrax”) and also of the hip hop of our house («My first Colle Der Formento live / I have the original vinyl of Beat your time»).

But there is also a bar on new generations (“The fifteen year old listens to Fibra and says:” Who is it? “/ Who does not hear” Gang “and not even” Eskere “”) and onsocial obsession (“People are crazy, first they ask you for a photo / Then post it on your profile and leave a comment below / Like” I caught him around but I don’t even listen to him / Better if I caught Sfera who is even more famous “).
