Rumors that Apple will add Face ID to their PCs have been around for a long time. If you believe the new piece of data, the appearance of such devices will have to wait a little longer.

Bloomberg says Apple will bring Face ID to Mac in the next couple of years. The Cupertino giant’s ultimate goal is to embed Face ID in all of its products where possible, from the most affordable iPhones.

That won’t happen this year, but I bet Face ID is coming to Mac in the next couple of years. I expect all iPhones and iPads to also switch to Face ID during this time frame. In the end, the in-screen camera will help differentiate Apple’s more expensive devices by eliminating the notch at the top.
