Facebook Reels, here’s how it works

A new Facebook feature is coming to Italy that many have awaited: in fact, after an initial launch phase reserved for users in the United States, Meta has announced the release of Reels on Facebook in 150 new countries including our peninsula.

“Reels is by far our fastest growing content format and today we make it available to everyone on Facebook globally. We want Reels to be the best place for creators to connect with their community and make money, so we are also launching new monetization tools »announces Mark Zuckerberg on his Facebook profile.

Accessible directly from the feed, within groups and in the Watch section, i Reels are multi clip videos lasting up to 60 seconds designed with the aim of allowing creators to make yourself known to an ever wider audience, stay in touch with their followers and monetize through the published content.

Creating a reel is easy: just open the Facebook app and tap the button Reel that appears at the top of the feed, then record one or more videos or import them directly from the smartphone gallery. Furthermore, while viewing a reel we can decide to follow the author, leave a I like or a comment, or share it with our friends.

And there are more features that integrate with those already announced during the last year, and in particular: i Remix to place our reel next to an already existing and previously published one, the reels of maximum duration of 60 secondsthe possibility of save a reel in drafts and, finally, the debut of new tools is expected video clipping.

Finally, there is no lack of attention to the solutions that will allow creators to generate income: in fact, in addition to the overlay ads and the Stars, the extension of the Reels Play bonus program and in-stream advertisements to users from different countries is expected by mid-March.
