Factory orders rise 3% in March, above the 1.7% expected

The Factory orders grew 3% monthly in Germany during the month of March, surpassing the 1.7% expected growth and the previous 1.4% (revised from 1.2%). This is the third consecutive month of increases in the indicator, and the highest growth recorded since October 2020.

Year-on-year factory orders grew 27.8%, notably improving the expected 4.1% and 5.8% in February (upward revised from 5.6%). The annual indicator registers six consecutive months of growth and its highest rise since June 2010.
