A man was arrested on Wednesday (2) in Rio das Ostras, in Rio de Janeiro’s coastal Baixada, suspected of estelionate and ideological falsehood.
According to investigations from the 128th DP (Rio das Ostras), Caíque de Assis do Espírito was a civil police officer, using a fake wallet to intimidate traders and obtain improper advantages in the region.
After trying to apply the blow again, a store security guard suspected Caíque’s attitude and called the Civil Police. He was arrested in the act and taken to the same police station where he claimed to work.
The 128th DP continues to listen to victims and witnesses to complete the inquiry. The suspect remains at the disposal of justice.
