A 53 -year -old man was caught in the act after pretending to be a neurosurgeon. The case took place last Tuesday (20), in Ceilândia, in the Federal District. The Civil Police indicted the false doctor on suspicion of estelionato.
The false doctor promised to intermediate emergency surgery in a private hospital for the victim’s son, diagnosed with serious brain cancer.
The suspect received a transfer of R $ 800 via the victim’s Pix, who believed that the amount would be intended to pay the anesthetist. After new charges, the victim sought the police station.
The arrest of the fake doctor was made in the act in front of a bank branch. At the scene, the suspect expected to receive another $ 500 from the victim.
The man had no criminal record, but had several police records about similar crimes.
