Famous and family of the singer Nana Caymmi gathered at the artist’s wake on Friday (2). The ceremony takes place at the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theater, in the center of the state capital.
After the wake, the artist’s body will be buried in the São João Batista cemetery. Nana Caymmi died yesterday (1st) at 84.
At the ceremony, the brother of singer and composer Danilo Caymmi described Nana as “a fighter.”
Nana’s other brother and also songwriter Dori Caymmi was together among the singer’s family members.
The actor André Gonçalves was also seen at the ceremony.
