Family members and friends of Gabriel Luiz Dias da Silva are organizing a crowdfunding online to raise money to bring the boy’s body back to Brazil.
The page was created by the model’s father, Luciano Luiz Silveira da Silva, from Gravataí, in Rio Grande do Sul, and this Monday morning (16) already had about 175 contributions, which amount to almost R$ 7 thousand. The goal is to reach R$ 40 thousand.
“Now we need everyone to help us bring Gabriel back and give him a burial worthy of the love and affection he deserves, because Gabriel on Earth was Light and now in Heaven he is even more light”, says the text.
The model, who was 27 years old, was found dead on Thursday (12), with a bag over his head, in Milan, Italy.
According to the local press, his partner, Gian Claudio Dalla Benetta, 71, is being investigated on suspicion of homicide.
The two were at a party with some friends on Tuesday (10), in the apartment where the body was found.
Expert expertise, tox screen, and autopsy will help determine the model’s cause of death.
In addition to being a model, he was also a fitness instructor. On social networks, Gabriel used to post his training routine and his daily life in Italy, where he has lived since 2019.
In a note, the Itamaraty Palace said it is providing assistance to Gabriel’s family.
