Since November, a rumor has been circulating that Gaga would perform a free megashow on Copacabana beach, in the south of Rio, in May 2025 — along the lines of the show held by Madonna in May 2024. See everything that has already been said know so far.
The rumor about the artist’s arrival in Brazil started on X, formerly Twitter, after the Mayor Eduardo Paes (PSD) create suspense on the matter.
Later, Lauro Jardim, a columnist for the newspaper O Globo, announced that he had access to information that the same format of contract signed by Madonna had been closed by Rio de Janeiro city hall with Lady Gaga on November 27th.
Despite this, the mayor stated that the official announcement will only be made in January 2025. Recently, Paes published a video of the American singing the song “Shallow” at the Oscar ceremony.
