Fantastic Beasts 3 – Dumbledore’s Secrets: The First Trailer

Three years on The crimes of Grindelwald and from the scandal that saw Johnny Depp out of the game arousing the harsh reaction of the fans, the third chapter of Fantastic Beasts is preparing to return to the cinema on April 13th. The film, directed once again by David Yates and set once again in the 1930s, will try to bring order to the events of the first two films by focusing on the key figure of this new course of history: that of Albus silente, played in the new version by Jude Law. In Fantastic Beasts – Dumbledore’s Secrets in fact, we deal with the fact that Credence (Ezra Miller) knows he is Aurelius Dumbledore, Albus’s lost brother who, for his part, will try to find a way to counter Grindelwald without breaking the oath, signed years earlier, which requires him not to touch it.

At this turn the dark wizard will, as we know, no longer be played by Depp, but by Mads Mikkelsen, committed to doing justice to a character that Tim Burton’s fetish actor has tailored himself as often happens to him. To stand up to him to try to destroy his plan to control the magical world will be the magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), who will find himself leading a fearless team of wizards, witches and a brave Muggle pastry chef on a perilous mission to save the globe. In the first trailer of the new Fantastic Beasts we find a taste of what awaits us: magical creatures, giant scorpions, explosions, fairy wands and spectacular sequences that will leave the public with bated breath waiting to understand if the Good will once again be able to get the better of Evil.

Jude Law is Albus Dumbledore

Between a new setting in Rio De Janeiro and the beginning of the outbreak of the Second World War, Fantastic Beasts 3 turns even more on a dark register while trying to keep alive the humor that in it Crimes of Grindelwald it was almost entirely absent. The cast is very rich which, in addition to Law, Redmayne and Mikkelsen, will see the return of Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica William, and Katherine Waterston, as well as JK Rowling on the screenplay. The film, produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, will, of course, try to keep the Harry Potter universe alive exactly twenty years after the release of The first philosopher at the cinema and, judging by the warmth and affection that the public continues to have towards the boy wizard, it will not be such an arduous undertaking.
