Director Matt Shakman, responsible for the new “Fantastic Four” film, shared news on his Instagram profile that says that Pedro Pascal will be the main protagonist of the production, playing Mr. Fantastic.
Matt Shakman used his Instagram story to share a press report that states that Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic, in the version of “Fantastic Four” that premieres in 2025.

“Fantastic Four” will be a new adaptation led by Marvel Studios. The group of superheroes derived from the comics has already had three film adaptations, but none, so far, have been produced by Marvel.
The new film still has no other names confirmed for the cast or the exact plot.
“Fantastic Four” will start recording this year and is scheduled for release on May 2, 2025.
In its original story, “Fantastic Four” explores four scientists who gain special powers after being teleported to a parallel universe. They need to use these mutations for Earth's survival when a former ally becomes a deadly enemy.
The first film in the franchise was released in 2005 and featured Ioan Gruffudd as Mr. Fantastic. Other names in the cast were Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Michael Chiklis, who play the other members of the team.
