The Fletch, born in Nottingham on 8 July 1961, was one of the founders of Depeche Mode in 1980. Shortly afterwards, keyboardist / guitarist Martin Gore, future leader, composer and lyricist of the group, and the charismatic singer Dave Gahan would join the original nucleus: from there one success after another , with Fletcher also busy taking care of the managerial part of the band, which in the meantime has become stronger and bigger.
