The young entrepreneur was only 41 years old Giorgia Martone, who worked with dedication alongside his father Roberto in the ICR company (Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite di Lodi) and did not manage to survive an operation.
It happened yesterday during an operation that was supposed to last only 15 minutes. But something went wrong and the young and sunny Giorgia died at the San Giuseppe Hospital in Milan.
Giorgia was passionate about perfumes and nature protagonists of her book today in its third edition «The grammar of perfumes», A wonderful journey through the places and ingredients that make up the fragrances and feed the imagination of those who wear them and those who create them.

Giorgia was the creative mind of the family company, which creates perfumes for big fashion brands from Bulgari to Trussardi, from DSquared to Blumarine and Pomellato, and had the role of director of the ICR. She graduated from Bocconi in Milan in Design & Fashion Management, and her intention to deepen the world of fragrances had brought her to the United States to follow a work experience in “Raw materials, History of perfume and fragrances” at Symrise, a company perfume producer.
When the family transformed a soap factory in 2013 into the first five-star hotel à parfum in via Forcella in Milan, the Magna Pars Suite Hotel, Giorgia takes care of marketing and communication and opens the Perfume Laboratory, LabSolue, where unique, artistic or tailor made fragrances are born.
The funeral will take place today at the Basilica of Santa Maria della Passione in Milan.
