Farewell to Mirko Locatelli, the director of the foreign bodies and the memory of the world dies at 50 years old

The director, screenwriter and producer passed away at the age of 50, after a short illness Mirko Locatelli. Born in Milan on October 22, 1974, Locatelli had long since moved to Casorzo Monferrato, in the province of Asti, where he died yesterday and where he was starting to shoot his new film.

With strange films, in 2016 he also took care of the executive production of The cormorantsFabio Bobbio’s debut film, presented in competition at Vision Du Réel.
In 2018 his third film, Isabellewith Ariane Ascaride protagonist and co -produced with the French Agat Films & Cie and Rai Cinema, is presented in competition at the Montreal World Film Festival, where he obtains the prize for the best screenplay.
His latest work dates back to 2022, when he wrote, directed and produced The memory of the worldpresented in a world premiere at the Turin Film Festival and played by Fabrizio Falco, Maurizio Soldà and Fabrizio Calfapietra.
