Farewell to Solange: the television psychic dies at 68

Known by the stage name of Solange, the psychic Paolo Bucinelli dies in solitude in his house in Collesalvetti, in the province of Livorno, where it was found on the afternoon of 7 January. To find the body of man, 68 years old, it was the firefighters who, warned by some Bucinelli’s friends worried that he had not answered the phone for several days, forced entry to find Solange dead on the sofa.

According to the 118 doctor who intervened on the spot with the carabinieri, the death would have occurred from natural causes: according to reports from the military, it seems that Bucinelli went to the emergency room last Sunday for a glycemic problem only to be discharged shortly after.

Born on April 25, 1952, Solange established himself as a psychic in the eighties by participating in several television shows including Do you know the latest?, House by house e Have a nice Sunday (very famous is his live altercation with Matilde Zarcone, the ex-wife of Valerio Staffelli who had accused Solange of not being objective during the hand reading ritual).

In 2004 he took part in the first edition of the reality show The farm, hosted by Daria Bignardi on Italia 1, while three years later he starred in Distraction with Teo Mammucari, always on the same network. A few years later he participated as a competitor in the Pupo television quiz on Agon Channel, A song for a hundred thousand. In the meantime he has written six books and released a music album.
