In the midst of doubt about whether or not to suspend X, formerly Twitter, in Brazil the mood on the platform is one of farewell, but not sadness. Quite the contrary, Brazilian internet users are dedicated to rescue the best posts and memes from the social network before its possible departure .
On Thursday night (29), the deadline for X to inform the Federal Supreme Court (STF) of a company representative in Brazil ended, failing to comply with the determination of Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
The platform had already informed that it did not intend to comply with the order, and therefore X, formerly Twitter, could be suspended in the country.
The STF’s technical area still needs to confirm whether the company made a statement in the process before Minister Alexandre de Moraes issues a decision confirming the suspension or not of the social network.
