Father and daughter are diagnosed and he withdraws from treatment so that she can be saved

Stories like these make our little hearts grow sentimental, but they are worth reading, not only to honor the sacrifice of a father, but also to support those who need it most. A little over a year ago, Dr. Roberto Ávila Brambila, 37, was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Unfortunately, after a while, his daughter Andrea received the same assessment, but the disease is lodged in his head.

Upon learning of his condition, the family began a help campaign on social networks to be able to cover the expenses involved in their treatments, from radiotherapy sessions, chemo to an operation to place a catheter.

However, the expenses were unsustainable, so Roberto decided to abandon his treatment to give priority to his daughter’s illness. Unfortunately, the father of the family lost his battle with cancer on June 11. On her social networks, her wife shared an emotional message dedicated to her husband, where she not only thanked him for everything she did, but also remembered a promise of love in her post.

With the sacrifice of her father, the girl continues with care at the University Hospital of Monterrey, Nuevo León, in Mexico, and her mother continues to request help through a group on Facebook, which is called Unidos por Andy Ávila.
