During the standoff, little Oaklyn begged her father not to follow through on his threat, telling him: “I don’t want to go to heaven today.” The incident occurred on November 11, when 43-year-old Charles Ryan Alexander kidnapped his daughter from her grandmother’s home in Jefferson County.
