Father says he will not baptize babies Reborn: “Submitted to the psychiatrist”

Father Chrystian, a parish priest with 3.7 million followers on Instagram, spoke about the controversial babies Reborn. In a post held this Saturday (17), on his Instagram profile, the religious made a humorous clarification saying that he does not perform baptisms or first communion of Reborn dolls, nor “Baby Liberation Prayer possessed by a Reborn Spirit.”

He also stated that “such situations should be referred to the psychologist, psychiatrist or, ultimately, to the doll manufacturer.”

In the comments, the priest followers responded to the publication equally witty way. Some wrote that he would be accused of “Rebornfobia,” others said the priest would be reported to the Reborn Guardianship Council. And there were even those who enjoy the religious post to offer babysitting services to Reborn babies.

Many followers have also expressed unbelief that some people seek religious services for dolls that have become the matter of the moment in recent weeks.

FIGHT IN JUSTICE

The lawyer and influencer Suzana Ferreira said on Instagram that a couple who disputes the guard of a Reborn baby, a hyper-realist toy, profited with doll accounts on social networks.

For this reason, the former companions dispute, in addition to the possession of the doll, the administration of profiles that generate engagement, advertising and profits.

“Baby Reborn has an Instagram, that the other part [do casal] It also has the desire to be an account administrator, as the profile already yields monetization. According to her, the baby’s Instagram should be of the two people. The account is a digital asset today, so it can also be considered as equity, ”said Suzana.

In addition, the client who sought the lawyer wanted to regulate the “coexistence” with the doll and prevent the former partner from having access to “Reborn daughter”. The impasse also includes the division of doll costs and a layette made for the baby.

Bills

Three bills were filed to create restrictions on Reborn babies, better known as ultra -realistic dolls. The idea is to prohibit care in private public health units, preferred lines, among other benefits.

One of the texts, by state deputy Cristiano Caporezzo (PL), from Minas Gerais, presented a project to ban attempts at hospital care of the simulations.

The proposal of Deputy Zacharias Calil (União Brasil-GO), wants to typify as administrative infraction the use of this type of doll or any other object or device that simulates the presence of a child, to receive or enjoy the benefits.

The parliamentarian wants to impose the penalty of fine for the infraction, with value that can vary from five to 20 minimum wages – with the possibility of double the value in case of recurrence. Framework raised with fines should be allocated to early childhood funds.

On social networks, users have shown their routines with Reborn babies, which usually have names and even documentation. The reports simulate real babies behaviors, with episodes of crying and feeding by bottle, and even medical demand.
