Fauci: We do not need the third dose of vaccine at this time

The moment the anxiety for its dispersion speed peaks Indian mutation, the acceleration of the third dose of coronavirus has fallen on the table.

The leading infectious disease specialist, Anthony Fauci, for his part, says that he does not need a third dose of the vaccine at the moment, despite the fact that Pfizer has announced that it is developing a third dose.

“Right now, with the information we need, we do not need to give the world a third installment,” Fauci told CNN.

Fauci clarified at the same time that he is carefully considering whether and when a third dose will be given.

The rate of spread of the Indian mutation raises concerns, with the strain prevailing at more than 90% in Britain and more than 50% in the US.

According to Pfizer and BioNTech, the third dose will raise a firewall against all mutations, including the Indian one.
