Fed: Barkin says they will keep rates low until moderate overheating in inflation is seen

The Federal Reserve, the central bank of the United States will aim to keep rates low until they see moderate inflation overheats , Richmond Federal Reserve Chairman Thomas Barkin said Wednesday, Reuters reported.

With regard to the labor market, Barkin said that unemployment adjusted for the drop in participation is around 11% and said that the downward trend in the participation rate among women of productive age may limit the rebound.
