The federal revenue for the month of November reached R$ 172 billion, with a real increase, already corrected for inflation, of 3.25%, compared to November 2021. According to information released this Wednesday (21) by the Federal Revenue Brazilian, this is the highest result for a month of November since 2013, when the federal government collected R$ 191.4 billion.
“The increase observed in the period can be explained, mainly, by the growth of the payments of Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) and Social Contribution on Net Income (CSLL)”, says the Revenue in a note.
The Revenue also explains that if non-recurring factors, such as extraordinary revenue and temporary tax exemptions, were not considered, the result for the month would have a real increase of 6.78%.
IRPJ and CSLL collected R$ 30.7 billion in November this year, registering a real growth of 15.16%. According to the Revenue, this result can be explained by real increases of 19.27% in the collection of the monthly estimate.
“It is important to note that there were atypical payments of approximately R$ 2 billion by companies linked to the commodities sector.”, points out the Revenue.
Another highlight for the month was Social Security Revenue, which collected R$ 45.8 billion, with real growth of 3.87%. According to the Revenue, this result is mainly due to the real increase of 12.93% in the wage bill.
