In September, members of the government even aired the possibility of paying benefits earlier, but this did not happen.
Currently, more than 20.2 million people are registered in the government registry to receive the R$ 600 assistance. The benefit created to mitigate the impact of the gas price on the family budget, has approximately 5.6 million registered.
