A federal judge today issued a federal judge preventing the US government of Donald Trump from deporting 10 unaccompanied children of immigrants to Guatemala, after lawyers said that the deportations would be a violation of US law. The court ruling was taken after an appeal filed in the early hours of the National Center for Law of Migration, a defense team in favor of immigrants, on behalf of children, aged 10-17 years. Judge Sparkl L. Sucanan of the Washington Regional Court ordered the US government to freeze deportations for 14 days and called for an urgent hearing within the next few hours, saying that children were in the deportation process.
