Federal Police seize 40 kg of drugs during a holiday

During the Proclamation of the Republic holiday, the Federal Police seized almost 40 kg of drugs from passengers on international flights at São Paulo International Airport. The action took place between the 11th and 16th of November.

In false bottoms of the luggage of a Dutch passenger, with special needs, ten kilos of methamphetamine and one kilo of decals with LSD were found. The man was on a flight from Barcelona, ​​Spain.

Already with a woman from Trinidad and Tobago, who was going to Mozambique, almost 11 kilos of cocaine were seized. The drug was inside duvet linings.

In the hand luggage of a Brazilian who was going to Athens, Greece, three kilos of cocaine were also found.

In another action, carried out at the check-in of a flight to Istanbul, Turkey, federal police seized almost three kilos of drugs. Two women, who would board the same flight, but with different final destinations, received a prison sentence.

With a man from Suriname, who intended to board a flight to Uganda, two kilos of cocaine were seized in false bottoms of his suitcase and, finally, with a woman, national of the Dominican Republic, who was going to board for Japan, female police officers found almost five kilos of diluted cocaine, packed in bags, inside the underwear.
