The Federal Police (PF), together with the Public Security Task Force, launched this Thursday (23) the operation Liga de Delos, with the objective of dismantling a cell of the criminal faction Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) investigated by crimes in the state of Roraima.
40 preventive arrest warrants and three search and seizure warrants are being carried out, issued by the Narcotics Court and Criminal Organization of Roraima. Among the 40 suspects who had warrants issued against them, 23 are already serving time within the Penitentiary System.
Some of those involved already have criminal records for the practices of robbery, kidnapping, drug trafficking, domestic violence, among other crimes, and will answer for participation in a criminal organization.
The name of the operation refers to a military organization formed by Athens, in the period of Ancient Greece, which aimed to protect Greek cities from the troops of the Persian Empire, and alludes to the union of efforts of public security forces in the state of Roraima.
The Task Force will complete three years of existence next July, and is made up of the Federal, Civil, Military and Criminal Police and the State Departments of Justice and Citizenship and Public Security.
