The Federal Revenue released, this Monday (27), the Income Tax refund calendar 2023. The deadline for submitting the IR declaration is from March 15 to May 31. The sooner the delivery is made, the greater the chance of receiving the refund amount in the first batches.
It is possible to know the amount to be refunded when filling out the declaration, since the calculation is done automatically by the system.
This year, there will be five batches of IR refunds. Priority will be given to:
- Seniors aged 80 years or over, provided they deliver the declaration by May 10;
- Elderly aged 60 years and over and people with a disability or serious illness;
- Taxpayers whose main source of income is teaching;
- Taxpayers who used the pre-filled declaration and/or chose to receive the refund by PIX;
- Too many taxpayers.
