Santa was a flop, but Spider-Man hit the spot. In the series The Ferragnez (available on Amazon Prime Video) Fedez said he spent eight hours of makeup to surprise his son Leone in a Santa Claus costume. As soon as he crossed the threshold of the house, however, the child immediately discovered the disguise of the parent, shattering his dreams of paternal glory.
The second attempt, however, was a success. And so the week started with the arrival of Spider-Man in the family’s Milan apartment (after breaking every box office record with Spider-Man: no way home).
It is about Mattia Villardita, a 29-year-old boy from Savona who for his social commitment was awarded the title of Cavaliere al Merito of the Italian Republic 2020 by President Sergio Mattarella. For the same commitment he also met Pope Francis. Vasco Rossi dedicated a video to him and was a guest in You are worth it.
The volunteer, who works in a port platform, for years has met young and old in hospitals but also in the homes of sick children to bring them the smile and hope in the costume of Spider-Man. That’s why on his Facebook page he quotes the cult phrase of the Avenger, “with great powers comes great responsibility”. As a child, he told on TV, he spent a lot of time in the ward for a congenital disease, with only one wish, that his superhero of the heart would visit him, but that never happened. That’s why he is now making that dream come true for so many others.
His mission was also accomplished with Leo, who took a picture of him with his Polaroid and told him about his little sister Vittoria, taking the superhero by the hand and accompanying him around the house. Obviously father Fedez did not miss an opportunity to wear the Spider-Man mask, just like the baby.
The influencer posted the video of the visit on Instagram and commented, in English: «Thank you Mattia Villardita for making the best surprise for our number one Spider-Man fan. You are a special person. Leo loves you ». The husband – whom we have just seen as a super host of Friends – prefers a more ironic caption, before the thanks: “When you prefer Spider-Man to Santa Claus”.
And so the most welcome and unexpected surprise arrived at the Ferragnez house, perhaps the only one capable of truly surprising the demanding eldest son.
