Fedez's name is still associated with that of Cristiano Iovino, the personal trainer who has made headlines against his will because he is talked about in Unique, the documentary on Ilary Blasi released on Netflix. Attacked in Milan on the night between 21 and 22 April 2024 by a group of unidentified men who got out of a black van – according to initial rumours, ultras Milan fans – Iovino had been treated on site and had not filed a complaint, adding that he had not recognized anyone, but now someone would have mentioned the rapper's name.
According to what he reports The Republic, the artist would have been recognized by two vigilantes under the personal trainer's house in Citylife, where the beating took place: «It was impossible not to recognize him, when everything was over they got back into the van and ran away», they declared. In short, there would also have been the rapper among the people who got out of that van, and with him also a girl. Fedez would also have been filmed by the surveillance cameras of Iovino's building, but would not be investigated for the attack.
It had all started a few hours earlier, in a place in the city, The Club of Largo La Foppa, from a joke by Iovino, perhaps an appreciation to the girl who accompanied Fedez. From there, there brawl, complete with overturned tables and chairs, documented by cameras and witnesses. In addition to Fedez, there were his bodyguard Christian Rosiello, ultra of the Curva Sud, two others of the same football faith and the rapper Taxi B. After the brawl Fedez and Iovino would have spoken by telephone and it seems that the latter contacted some friends Lazio ultraswho in turn would have started moving to find support from “colleagues” Inter fans, to which they are linked by a twinning, the first 35 years celebrated in 2023: «Aquila and Biscione united from generation to generation», stated the official statement released last year to renew the friendship.
It took investigators little time to put the pieces together, because the attack on Iovino immediately seemed like a sort of attack punitive expedition. His attackers knew where to find him and went without fail. The investigations immediately focused on some members of the AC Milan fans, but in this ugly story obviously neither football nor cheering has anything to do with it, just a certain wrong (and sick) way of solving things, with one's hands. No public statement has arrived in this regard from Fedez's entourage, at least for the moment.
