The arrest warrant for Gusttavo Lima was revoked on Tuesday afternoon (24), after a decision by the Judge Eduardo Guilliod Maranhão, from the Court of Justice of Pernambuco.
In a statement sent to the press, the singer’s defense said that it received “with great tranquility and a sense of justice the decision handed down” by the judge. With the decision, Gusttavo will be able to fulfill his concert schedule in the country as usual.
The country singer’s lawyers also say that the decision by Judge Andrea Calado da Cruz, who ordered the singer’s arrest on Monday, “established a series of presumptions contrary to everything that has already been presented in the records, even contradicting the Public Prosecutor’s Office’s statement in the case.”
The defense ends the note saying that Gusttavo Lima “has and always has had a clean life and a career dedicated to music and fans.”

The defense of singer Gusttavo Lima receives with great tranquility and a sense of justice the decision handed down this afternoon by TJPE Judge Dr. Eduardo Guilliod Maranhão, who granted the habeas corpus.
The decision of the judge of origin established a series of presumptions contrary to everything that has already been presented in the records, even contradicting the statement of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the case.
Gusttavo Lima’s relationship with the companies under investigation was strictly for the use of his image and resulted from the sale of an aircraft. Everything was done legally, through bank transactions, declarations to the competent authorities and registration with ANAC. These contracts had several compliance clauses and were signed long before it was possible to know of the existence of any ongoing investigation.
Gusttavo Lima has and always has had a clean life and a career dedicated to music and his fans. In due course, legal measures will be taken to obtain a minimum of compensation for all the damage caused to his image.
Revocation of arrest
Judge Eduardo Guilliod Maranhão, of the Court of Justice of Pernambuco, revoked this Tuesday (24) the preventive detention of singer Gusttavo Lima. He also suspended the seizure of the artist’s passport and firearm registration certificate, as well as any firearms possession permit.
The lawyers defending the singer, Delmiro Dantas Campos Neto, Matteus Macedo and Cláudio Bessas, filed the habeas corpus request on Monday night (22).
Judge Ricardo Paes Barreto, president of the Court of Justice of Pernambuco, however, did not accept the request for urgency and forwarded it to the case rapporteur, who made the decision this afternoon.
Eduardo Guilliod Maranhão also granted freedom to influencer Deolane Bezerra, who left prison this Tuesday (24).
Remember the accusations
On Monday, Judge Andréa Calado da Cruz had ordered the arrest of Gusttavo Lima based on the investigation of Operation Integration, which investigates crimes of money laundering and the practice of illegal gambling.
Among the accusations, the singer allegedly hid R$9.7 million received in two illegal gambling deposits from HSF Entretenimento Promoção de Eventos. In addition, he allegedly gave “shelter to fugitives” who are targets of the investigation, which is under judicial secrecy.
It was also revealed that the singer bought a 25% stake in the company “Vai de Bet”, which is considered an operator of illegal games and was recently at the center of another controversy, when it terminated its sponsorship contract with Corinthians.
