A 43-year-old woman was arrested on Friday (4) during Operation Check-out, held by the board of corruption and organized crime (Dracco) of the Alagoas Civil Police. She is investigated for diverting $ 9 million from a hotel where she worked in Maceió.
According to the investigations, the woman worked in the hotel’s financial sector for 10 years and held a trusted position. The millionaire deviation took place through payments duplicated to suppliers.
“We were able to understand what was the mechanism used by the employee to divert resources. She paid values that should be destined to suppliers, but transfers fell directly to her personal account,” said Deputy José Carlos.
The investigated was the pre -trial detention decreed. Police officers served search warrants and seizure in properties linked to suspicion, conducted the kidnapping of property and breaking bank and fiscal confidentiality.
The identity of the suspect was not disclosed, as was the name of the hotel, which suffered a millionaire damage. During the demarches, several evidence of the crime was found, but investigations continue.
