In just over a week there is the day against violence against women. November 25 is an annual event, violence is daily. The latest femicide in chronological order took place in Fano. A 23-year-old Ukrainian girl, Anastasia Alashriwas found dead with the marks of stab wounds in various parts of the body on the morning of November 14, in the countryside of Villa Giulia, along the Arzilla stream, in the municipality of Fano, in the province of Pesaro Urbino. Also found two knives and a duffel bag with clothes.
The alleged perpetrator of the femicide, the ex-husband of the woman, an Egyptian, 42 years old, was blocked at the Bologna station. The Pesaro prosecutor’s office issued a detention order for the crime of murder. The house and car of the man who gave directions on where to find the woman’s body are seized. Anastasia Alashri had been working since last May as a waitress in a restaurant in the Marche region. The alarm was raised when she did not show up for work on Sunday 13 November. According to the first reconstruction she had gone to the ex to take back some clothes. Separated from her husband, an Egyptian pastry chef, the 23-year-old she was the mother of a two-year-old boy.
