Femicide in the Asti area: Floriana killed by 30 stab wounds. Her companion watched over her lifeless body for two days

A 49-year-old woman, Floriana Floris, was killed with 30 stab wounds by her partner. The incident took place at Incisa Scapaccino, in the province of Astiwhere the victim was found dead in his own home, with next to the partner, Paolo Riccone, 57 years oldin a confused state after attempting suicide.

A former commercial agent in Milan, Floriana moved to Incisa Scapaccino two years ago. Daughter Alicehaving not heard from her mother for days and not even being able to get in touch with Floriana’s partner, she became worried and sounded the alarm.

At that point firefighters broke into the house breaking down the door and they found the woman’s body tortured by 30 stab wounds. The same weapon was used by Paolo Ricconewho first attempted to take his own life by cutting his veins, and then ingest bleach. In the house and crime scene there was also a German Shepherd puppy (owned by Floriana) locked in a room and a cat left to its own devices.

At the moment the man, with a history of depression due to the tragic death of his wife, is hospitalized at the Asti hospital in a pharmacological coma, guarded by the forces of the carabinieri.

The prosecutor of Alexandria has not yet issued any provision against Paolo Riccone, since his state of health does not allow him to be questioned.

Lino Floris, cousin of the victim, wrote on Facebook: “Yes, she was my cousin and her name was Floriana Floriswe didn’t hear from each other and we often saw each other but we loved each other a lot, a vile and ruthless being that instead of protecting her and loving her as the most precious asset on earth, he snatched her young life from her. Yet another femicide dictated by the insane perverse mind of unclassified living beings. I hope that anyone contemplating such a gesture will die out as soon as possible ».
