The actress Fernanda Montenegro 95, used social networks, this Friday (7), to show an affectionate moment alongside Linn da Quebrada 34. The two opposite together in the movie “Victory” which opens on March 13 this year.

Entitled “Victory” production, directed by Andrucha waddington (“Me, you, they”), is based on a real story that happened in Rio de Janeiro in the 2000s.
Fernanda Montenegro plays the protagonist Dona Nina who lives in a slum surrounded by violence. One day she decides to document the crimes on her own, from filming recorded on VHS tapes, made from the window of her home in the South Zone of Rio.
The story is based on the actual case involving Joana da Paz woman who was responsible for unmasking a large gang of traffickers and corrupt police. In 2005, when the report on the case was aired, she was renamed “victory” and was eventually forced to live “hidden” until her death in 2023. Over the course of 17 years, she lived in the witness protection program.
The movie still has in the cast Alan Rocha, Linn da Quebrada, Laila Garin and Thawan Lucas .
