The mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes (PSD), announced on Tuesday (4) the cancellation of the city’s street Carnival. The information was given by the mayor during live on social networks.
Molica reinforced the importance of Carnival for Brazilians, but said that the party cannot happen without security.
“Carnival It’s important for our joy, the party is important to give strength, to improve life. the party is required, But it can not be irresponsible. THEhe street blocks don’t have a rope, you can come and go whenever you want. The mixture is very big, you can’t separate, everyone stays, then it’s very difficult.”
