A ferry carrying soy passed over a houseboat in the community of Urumatuba, located in the municipality of Manicoré (AM), leaving four missing.
The accident happened on Friday morning (17) when a pusher advanced against the house.
The missing are a mother and three children. The residence was destroyed after the collision.
The Brazilian Navy stated in a statement that a team is carrying out searches at the site. Civil Defense and the municipality’s Civil and Military police are also investigating the incident.
