Files from Google will add an option to detect and remove blurry photos

In the near future, Google will release an update for the Files be Google app. To find out what “goodies” the company has prepared in the new version, the enthusiast Pranob Mehrotra made an ARC disassembly.

So, new lines in the update code indicate that the function of detecting and removing blurry photos may appear in the Files application from Google. This, in turn, will help save storage space.

Google has already started deploying files from Google v1.0.362806406 via the Play Store. The latest update is known to include the Favorites folder, which provides quick access to all your favorite files in the application. In order to add new objects to “Favorites”, you need to select a file and press the button with three dots. In the pop-up window, click on the “add to favorites” option.

The algorithm for accessing files is pretty simple too. The user needs to go to the “Browse” tab and select the “Favorites” option in the general collection. After that, a list of all files will appear on the screen: selected objects will be marked with an asterisk. While the new user interface isn’t much different from Android’s built-in storage, it is still a useful addition for working with media.

Pranob Mehrothr also added that some lines in the update code hint that Google plans to replace Google’s built-in Files transfer feature with Nearby Share. It’s not for nothing that Google has released a new version of Nearby Share, which allows you to share files with multiple Android users at the same time. In addition, the visibility of the program will be significantly expanded, due to which the discovery of new mobile devices will be faster.
