This Friday (15), the production of the Netflix series “Heartstopper” published a photo of the cast on their social networks to signal that the recording of the third season had been completed.
The British teenage plot is based on the comics by Alice Oseman and follows the shy boy Charlie (Joe Locke) and the super popular rugby player Nick (Kit Connor), two boys who meet at school. What appeared to be an unlikely friendship between two very different people ends up turning into a romance.
It is worth mentioning that in its debut week, the production entered the global Top 10 of most watched series on Netflix, being watched for 14.5 million hours. The recorded week began on April 18th and ended on April 24th – the series premiered on April 22nd, which means that this number represents only three days of counting. After the immediate success, Netflix announced the renewal of production for another two seasons.
The platform has not yet announced the release date for the new episodes. The first two seasons are available on Netflix.
