The Piedmont region with the capital city of Turin is the first in Italy to decide to ban deliveries through “deli”, bike or motorbike during the hottest hours of the day. The ban concerns about ten thousand people across Piedmont and stipulates that when the region is on an emergency alert due to heat, from 12.30 noon to 4pm, employees “in deli” will have to stop the job.
