Businessmen Marcílio Franco and André Amaral died in a plane crash this Sunday morning (28) in the city of Itapeva, in the interior of Minas Gerais. Their deaths were confirmed by Credfranco, a company in which the two were partners.

The Fire Department confirmed the death of seven people in the crash of a single-engine plane this Sunday morning (28), in Bairro Monjolinho, in the rural area of ​​Itapeva, in the extreme south of Minas Gerais. Witnesses who opened the call said they saw the plane breaking up in the air while flying over the region, and then its parts gradually falling to the ground.

“Military firefighters from Minas Gerais found the 7 victims dead on board the aircraft. PCMG experts confirmed this quantity and are continuing work on site,” the corporation said in a statement.

The plane that crashed in Itapeva left Campo dos Amarais Airport, in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo. The information was confirmed by the MG Fire Department. According to the corporation, the call to respond to the incident took place at 10:38 am today.
