The Fire Department confirmed the death of seven people in the crash of a single-engine plane this Sunday morning (28), in Bairro Monjolinho, in the rural area of Itapeva, in the extreme south of Minas Gerais. Witnesses who opened the call said they saw the plane breaking up in the air while flying over the region, and then its parts gradually falling to the ground.

“Military firefighters from Minas Gerais found the 7 victims dead on board the aircraft. PCMG experts confirmed this quantity and are continuing work on site,” the corporation said in a statement.
