Find out what to expect from Sean’s judgment “Diddy” Combs this Monday (19)

Pop singer Dawn Richard, 41, is expected to return to Sean’s “Diddy” Combs, 55, on Monday (19), after telling a jury last week that he saw Hip-Hop typical and emotionally abuse his then girlfriend for years.

Richard, former member of the pop group Danity Kane, described an incident at the Los Angeles Comb House in 2009, when he said that Combs beat his then girlfriend Casandra Ventura, 38, and dragged her through the stairs. Richard then said he heard glasses breaking and screams.

Richard witnessed that Combs called her and others who witnessed the alleged studio aggression the next day, gave them flowers and said their careers would be harmed if they reported the incident.

The rapper declared himself innocent of five criminal accusations of conspiracy of extortion, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution purposes. He has been detained since September at a Brooklyn prison when he is not in court. If convicted of all the accusations, he can take 15 years to life imprisonment.

Cassie said in four days of testimony last week that Combs coerce with her and blackmailed to participate in drug -driven sex days he called “Freak Offs,” which are at the center of the accusation case.

The main witness of the accusation, she said she suffered years of physical and emotional abuse during her tumultuous relationship.

Ventura, who is at an advanced pregnancy stage of her third child and concluded her statement last week, told the jurors that Combs raped her in August 2018 at her home after they ended.

“I just remember crying and say no, but it was very fast,” she said last week as her voice failed.

A lawyer representing Combs on Friday sought to weaken the allegation of Ventura’s rape, showing the jurors text messages indicating that Ventura had consensual sex with Combs a month after the alleged rape.

The trial at the Federal Court of Manhattan, which attracted intense media coverage due to the imposing wealth and influence of Combs in the music industry, can last up to two months.

Combs, previously known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, founded Bad Boy Records and is credited with helping artists such as Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Notorious Big and Usher into Stars in the 1990s and 2000s.

Part of the criminal case stems from Ventura’s civil action against Combs in November 2023. She testified that he agreed after 24 hours of closing a deal for $ 20 million (about $ 115 million).

Richard filed a civil action against Combs claiming that he subjected her to inhuman working conditions, including galls and aggression. The action says that Richard saw combs beaten brutally harsh on many occasions.
