The singer and producer MC Biel Xcamoso, one of the main exponents of brega funk in Recife, died in the early hours of this Monday (10), after a car accident.
According to information from the Pernambuco Civil Police, the singer lost control of the vehicle he was driving in the Boa Viagem neighborhood. The accident happened around 4 am.
The singer became known for the catchphrase “New news, it’s Biel Xcamoso”, said by him before the beginning of his songs. Among Biel’s main hits are: “Tome na Pepeka”, which surpassed 53 million views on YouTube, “Aquele que Faz Gostoso”, “Socadona” and “Me Separei”.
The artist partnered with other funk rhythm artists, such as MC Lucy, the duo Shevchenko and Elloco, MC 10G, MC Naninha and MC Marley.
