Businessman and bodybuilder Randal Rossoni, 44 years old, was arrested on suspicion of killing an Enel outsourced employee last Wednesday (13). The crime occurred in the east zone of São Paulo and was allegedly motivated by an argument after the worker cut off the electricity at Rossoni's gym.
The suspect owns a gym in Vila Paranaguá, also in the east zone, close to São Miguel Paulista. The crime occurred approximately 450 meters from the location.
According to the Commercial Board of the State of São Paulo, Rossoni's company was opened in 2009. The gym operates on Rua Antônio Carlos Lamego and has undergone expansion over the last few years. In 2010, the space had only one floor. Currently, it has three floors.

Rossoni presents himself as a nutritionist and physical educator. He has already participated in several bodybuilding competitions, becoming three-time champion of São Paulo and runner-up in Brazil by the Brazilian Confederation of Bodybuilding and Bodybuilding (CBCM).
After the crime, Rossoni deleted his social media profiles. There were at least three accounts on Instagram: in addition to his personal profile, he had a profile focused on his work as a nutritionist and one for the gym.
A CNN contacted the academy, but did not receive a response at the time of publishing this report. Rossoni's defense was also not located.
How was the crime
The disagreement that motivated the crime would have started after the victim initiated the procedure to turn off the electricity, motivated by the lack of payments. Confronted by Rossoni, the Enel outsourced employee finished the job, left the site and continued his work routine in the region.
Shortly afterwards, at around 2pm, military police were called to respond to an incident at a gas station on Avenida São Miguel, around 450 meters from the academy.
At the indicated address, they found the employee with a gunshot wound, lying on the floor. Business owners in the region report that the crime was sudden, followed by a commotion and shouting at the gas station where the shot was fired. The victim was rescued and taken to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries and died.
Rossoni was subsequently identified by the Military Police on Avenida Manoel dos Santos Braga. Questioned by the agents, Rossoni confessed to the crime and confirmed that it was motivated by the power being turned off at the gym.
The shooter was sent to a custody hearing and the case was registered as a completed homicide in the 24th DP (Ponte Rasa).
In a statement, Enel Distribuição São Paulo said it “vehemently repudiates the act of violence committed this afternoon [quarta, 13] against an electrician from a partner company of the company, during a power cut activity”.
“After carrying out the cutting service due to default, the service provider was shot and died after being rescued and taken to the hospital. The company is in contact with the partner company to provide assistance to the employee's family. Enel informs that a police report has been registered and that it will follow the investigations by the police authorities so that this crime does not go unpunished”, added the company.
