For example, the most important upgrade of the email client on smartphones is a new format for creating rules for letters – at the moment, every week more than twenty thousand users create new rules for processing incoming content manually. And if earlier users had to prescribe the rules they needed on their own, now algorithms can do it for them. For example, if a person transfers plane or train tickets to the “Trips” folder, the application will automatically offer to create such a rule and in the future this will save time, and the mail will be neat and tidy.
Probably the most convenient innovation is the list of unread letters – quite often users simply do not open letters, because they are not relevant to them at the moment. True, later finding an unread letter from a client among already read letters can be extremely problematic, but this situation has been corrected in the updated version of the application. By selecting the appropriate filter, users will see only unread emails and easily find the content they need.
Also, the developers have implemented a feature that users have been asking for so long – now in the application it will be possible to pin a letter at the beginning of all messages. This is a very handy feature when traveling or visiting a music festival – you can pin letters with purchased tickets and a program so as not to look for them among all the letters in the feed.
The developers of the service said that new features are available not only in the mobile application, but also in the web version of Mail. Moreover, now reminders have appeared on the PC that will not allow you to forget about important letters – just open the letter and set a timer so that on the appointed day and hour the letter appears at the very top of the list of all inboxes.
