Fire and burst on a train carrying LPG to Vilnius

The city of Vilnius ordered the evacuation of an area within a kilometer radius around a train station after a train carrying liquefied oil gas (LPG) wrapped in flames and exploded during its loading. The fire broke out at 9.30 (Greek time) but by the afternoon, the 40 firefighters who rushed to the spot were unable to reach the train due to the very high temperature developed, the Lithuanian firefighting and rescue service said. The LPG comes from a Lithuanian refinery owned by Orlen, Poland, but another company is responsible for its transfer.
