The Fire Department finished, around 2:30 pm, the work of stabilization and removal of belongings from the accident involving singer Marília Mendonça. The artist and four other people died yesterday afternoon (5) in an accident in Minas Gerais.
At the site, the singer’s guitar and travel bags were found.
The artist traveled to Caratinga, the city where she would perform a show. The aircraft fell into a watercourse near an access road on the BR-474 highway. Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (Cemig) reported that the plane hit a cable in a power distribution tower of the company in Caratinga.
After the firefighters left, the accident site was under the care of the Air Force and other bodies for expertise and other measures. The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) and the Civil Police of Minas Gerais are investigating what happened.
The bodies of singer Marília Mendonça and her uncle Abicieli Silveira Dias Filho are being taken to the Parque Memorial Cemetery, in Goiânia, for burial. Before, a ceremony at Goiânia Arena was opened so that the public could pay homage.
